"I adore Brandi Carlile Chris. His sound, I love his look, and his song choices, etc. I went to his concert last night and let me tell you - wherever he performed on Friday or Saturday night, it must have been an amazing show, because he was struggling with his voice by Sunday night. His new drummer totally kicks a@%, but it felt like watching a rock star with a rock star drummer and two college kids on guitar (I don't mean any offense to the guitar players, but they are not on the same level). Chris and his band need to rise in the ranks before attempting to headline. He started playing at 8:45 with only 2 CDs, and we were done by 10:00. No screens, no fireworks, nothing. He hasn't quite mastered working the stage yet (even though there's plenty of stage space for him). He shared no personal stories and didn't chat much. I will definitely pay to see him again, but only as an opening act or as a headliner years from now. Best of luck Chris!! You're still incredible!"
